Each moment we die and are born again. Nothing is permanent. As fish traveling along both banks, so do we travel between the dream state and the waking state. Consciousness is an ocean. When we realize that the entire human being's conscious process occurs in a matrix of water, this is more than a mythological image.

Wave after wave of fantastic worlds are created by the winds of consciousness in the infinitely large ocean of oneself. Worlds of joy and longing whilst gazing at the sea. It is because we are mostly water ourselves. A particular emotion arises, when the waters that form us meet the waters from which we came, and to which we will return.

It is us, and we know it to be. We know that we are part of it, nevertheless apart at the same time. To be part of something and to be separated from it is both: the nature of our experience with water, and the nature of our experience as human beings.

Our experience of the world is fluid.
